You should have followed introductory courses in linux and R before joining the course. As a last resort, you could remediate your knowledge with online courses on linux http://korflab.ucdavis.edu/Unix_and_Perl/ and on R https://www.coursera.org/learn/r-programming.

 Abstract of your current project: describe your current project and the use of phylogeny, phylogeography, population genetics and/or genomic studies in your research. State the beginning and end of this projected (max. 300 words). 

 Letter of motivation: Please provide a short statement of what you expect to learn from the course (max. 300 words).

 Spreading your new knowledge: If you are selected, you are requested to communicate the knowledge gained in the course to your team at your institute. Please explain in a few sentences (100 words max.) how you would do so.

 CV (2 pages max), abstract of your project, cover letter and letter of recommendation (preferably one) must be submitted through the web platform into a single pdf file.

 

First step
Click on "Create account" at the top right of the screen. Follow the instructions. You will then receive an email to confirm your account set up.

On the "Register" webpage, continue to fill in the fields. Most of them are mandatory.

Please note that you won't be able to modify information after submission. We recommend you to prepare your submission in a separate document before starting the process.

 

Second step

This step is absolutely required to validate your application. 
Applications won't be considered without the applicant's Curriculum Vitae, cover letter and support letters.


Following your application, you will receive a confirmation email.

Then, you will be able to submit your Curriculum vitae (maximum 2 pages), a cover letter listing your motivations (1 page) and a recommendation letter from one of your past or present advisors. You are kindly requested to group everything in a single pdf file and your name should be in the file name.

  1. Give a title to your submission; it must include your name (as the file's name).
  2. On the Author tab, just fill in Name and Firstname fields. Do not consider the others. Then click on "add a new affiliation" and just fill in Name and Country fields.
  3. On the File tab, upload your file (.pdf file) in the main file section.
  4. Finalize your submission.

 We strongly recommend you to do this second step immediately after the first one.
